Nike made a statement at the 2016 Rio Olympics with the Wing olympic frame. Sharing the same philosophy as the Vaporwing, this intricately sculpted piece of gear has a performance driven aesthetic that touches on the flow of motion displayed by athletes…but upped a notch. The lens and frame are one in the same. With an extremely limited release, it was necessary to apply the same special treatment to the case of a style that warranted care and status. The design itself has an upright form factor, shock resistant foam for protection, and sculpted surfaces to compliment the frame that lies beneath.
